My wife and I live southern California. My local Subaru dealer has been okay, but sometimes seem limited in their ability to meet our needs in maintaining our vehicle. For example my wife and I wanted to pull a small trailer with our Subaru Outback, but we needed to install a 7-pin plug on the hitch. Our local dealer would not help us out. We go to the Olympic Peninsula each summer. In the summer of 2022, I stopped in at Koenig Subaru and asked them about installing the plug and their Service Department Manager(?), Justin, said that wouldn't be a problem. He was more than willing to get the plug installed that day (if we had the car with us). During this past summer (2023), we used our car to travel to The Peninsula and we heard a terrible noise as our car took left turns. We brought our Outback into Port Angeles to Koenig Subaru; Justin and the service team diagnosed the problem; the bearing in our rear passenger wheel was going out, a problem our local dealer maybe should have identified. We were on a tight timeline, but Koenig Subaru got the parts and were able to get us back on the road on schedule! They also discovered and repaired some other issues our local dealer did not catch. Our car worked great the rest of the way home. When my wife and I move to Port Angeles, Koenig Subaru will definitely have our business.
