We met on fb marketplace (my first marketplace success story) she had posted a car. I gave her my cell number, she texted me prior to make a time to meet at the dealership. From the moment the Sales Representative Danny Love met me to the purchase of the vehicle he was outstanding. Very professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and went beyond to ensure that not only my questions were answered but also took the time to understand my needs of what I was looking for were met. Yukon transmission when out on the highway in Charlotte while driving down for New Years in Charleston. Whole family in the car. Thankfully it limped along enough to get to Rock Hill GMC on the back roads. We rented a van in Charlotte and drove down to drop the keys in the key drop at Rock Hill GMC as it was a Sunday morning. Nothing open. Complete leap of faith leaving it and writing our misfortunes on the envelope. I got a call from Tripp Cameron first thing Monday morning saying he'd take care of us and have the Yukon looked at immediately. Transmission had 124k on it, pump was kaput with metal shavings/pieces throughout the transmission. It was done for. Tripp ordered a new transmission Tuesday about 12noon. Wed was New Years Day. A new transmission showed up on an 18 wheeler Friday Morning. The Tech, Rob Shelly, was thankfully a master at GMC transmissions and had the old out and the new one in in about 6 hours. We were heading back home Friday night after being able to enjoy our vacation in Charleston while Rock Hill GMC handled the problem. Thank you! I tell people this story after being home and they all say "you got so lucky to have that handled so smoothly especially over New Years" I agree.
