For the good to make sense you have to read the bad. The good: after our "encounter" with salesman, David, we were leaving pretty upset. The GM of the store stopped us before we left and let us explain everything to him and he made it his mission to help us find the right car at our budget. He looked through car after car and brought 3 cars to us to see while the kids stayed in the ac, until we found our match. Once we found our match, he set us up with a new salesman, Chris, who also gave us great effort and was personable. Because of their efforts, we're getting ready to meet with Chris for a test drive and questions. The bad: I highly recommend not using David as a salesman. We went in and let him know that it was too hot to drag the kids through the lot to look at cars so we wanted to give him our specifics to help us FIND a car. That's their job. Help the customer find a car that fits their needs within their budget. Instead of doing his research and helping us find what they have, he had me pull my phone out and do the research myself while he stood there. I was fed up at that point and decided to leave. We were there to view the cars, not just look at pictures and not do what we've been doing at home.
Eddie was my sales rep. Very professional and great communication throughout the entire process. Went above and beyond to help me out with all my requests. Couldn't have asked for a better sales rep. Thanks again Eddie!!! Anyone looking to purchase a car through Liberty Buick, ask for Eddie! Trust me, you won't regret it. I had a great experience with this dealership.
My family purchased a used vehicle from Liberty at the beginning of January. This is the second vehicle that we have purchased with them in the last two and a half years for differently family members. Both experiences have been positive. With that said, a large number of people who have had the experience of purchasing a vehicle can attest to the unpleasantness that can be associated with it. The time involved, the research, the stress, the negotiating all this can be frustrating and uncomfortable. I can't stress enough how important it is to find a sales associate that you can mesh with. Never feel pressured to continue a negotiation with an associate that you feel is disagreeable. In December we originally did a test drive with Murphy a sales associate at Liberty. It was an agreeable encounter leaving us to feel at ease, definitely someone we could see ourselves doing business with. He was friendly, informative, non-pushy, respectful and professional. We were given his card and told to call if we had any questions. He never bothered us regarding the vehicle just left the decision with us. A couple weeks later after researching and test driving several other vehicles we narrowed down our preference. We saw a vehicle listed for sale at Liberty that fit those preferences. We called and were able to speak with Murphy and went down to do a test drive with him. Once again Murphy was easy to deal with. He was patient, honest and if he didn't have an answer to one of our questions he found someone that did. We ended up purchasing the vehicle. We were pleased that our monthly payments were actually lower than what we were told and we even received a refund for an overpayment on vehicle licensing. Murphy made the entire process smooth and unbothersome. I seriously cannot recommend him enough. Mike in financing also helped to make everything simple and uncomplicated. Thanks again guys, it was a pleasure doing business with you.
