The salesman that helped us was nice. He took his time with us, making sure we got a vehicle that we wanted and not settled. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
I bought my son's truck here back in October. Before purchasing, the check engine light was on. The owner said he would get it fixed. It was an Evap code (nothing really serious, but still would not pass inspection/emissions when the time came). I bought the truck, the check engine light came back on within a couple weeks (my son didn't have his license yet so he barely drove it). Called the owner up and he said to bring it in, that they would check it out because it was the same code coming up as prior to me purchasing. They fixed something and said to let them know if it came back on. It did. Their smoke machine was down so he had mentioned they may not have 100% fixed it so we took it back - they ran the smoke test, thought they had finally fixed it. It came back on once more. Their guys drove it around a ton trying to determine the problem, fixed it again for what they thought it was, even gave us gas money because of having to drive/test it so much, and he even admitted the guys were embarrassed they could not figure it out. I am sure I am missing a time or two because this went on 4 different times of taking it back. After the 4th time, it did not come back on right away but it did come back on. So again, we took it back. This time, he called us and said it actually was not the Evap code this time, but actually a Catalytic Converter issue - not the original issue (yay! that seems to be fixed). He easily could have said "hey we have gone above and beyond and this isn't our problem" but no, instead, he had his guys REPLACE the Catalytic Converter at NO CHARGE just for all of the trouble. If that is not good customer service, I don't know what is! Yes, it was such a hassle, but sometimes you need to realize things happen, but he NEVER gave up and did everything he had to, to make sure we were satisfied. If you are in the market for a used car, I highly recommend! Very nice guy!
Awesome buying experience here. I am MORE THAN pleased with the vehicle I got from here. If you don't have credit or have bad credit or are starting over/rebuilding credit; you can get financed with a reasonable down payment. For ppl that have left bad reviews, and said that this dealership sold you a bad car: understand that these are used cars. They're not perfect and will probably need something fixed at some point. It's not the dealerships fault if something breaks after the car was sold to you. That's why they offer warranties, etc. The car I bought needed a few things, too. So what? That's part of owning a car; which is doing maintenance and repairs. I have to say that most of the cars here are decent. They do have a cheaper car section in their other lot if you don't want the more expensive ones. My experience here was great. There was no hassle and no haggling. Everything was up front and honest. I wouldn't be writing any of this if it wasn't how they operate. As of writing this I have had my car for 4 months. So, in my opinion, I highly recommend Doman Auto Sales...
