I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Mid State Auto, and I can't express enough how positive and exceptional my experience was, largely thanks to Jamal. Moving from the city to Poughkeepsie, I found myself in need of a car for the first time since 2004. Buying a car after such a long hiatus was a little daunting for me, but Jamal made the entire process surprisingly wonderful in many ways. Jamal's honesty is truly commendable (and surprising), and his commitment to customer service is unlike anything I've experienced. What stood out the most was his dedication to ensuring that I made an informed decision. Instead of rushing into a purchase, Jamal insisted that we take the car for a test drive down the highway together, truly testing the car. Even beyond the transaction, Jamal's kindness shone through. I was feeling under the weather, and he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He offered me a cup of tea with fresh sage, and that small gesture spoke volumes about his consideration for his customers. I took a Lyft to look at the car and he personally drove me back to my house since I needed 3 days to pick up before my insurance kicked in. He also arranged to have fresh honey delivered to my house to keep my cough at bay. His kindness honestly moved me. If you're in the market for a car and want an honest, customer-focused, and genuinely caring experience, look no further than Mid State Auto. Ask for Jamal – he's a great human, and is truly relationship over revenue oriented, which, in a transactional world, I don't know when I'll be able to say that again.
