I had a mysterious popping noise in my front end on my 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2. For some reason, in addition to when I turned the wheel it popped But also, my alignment would go out over time. I had been taking the truck in for almost a year trying to figure this out my service advisor. Mike has been very patient trying to work it out with me as well. The other day when I dropped it off the mechanic John at McKay Chevrolet really took the time to try and understand what was going on. Discovered that there was a bolt that was not torqued to the correct specification in the front end and he corrected it and the problem is gone. These guys did a great job tracking it down even though it was a tiny problem causing big issues were patient took the time to help me.
Mike, the Service Manager, is a kind and understanding man. Due to health reasons I am unable to drive right now and he sent someone to my home to pick up my car, serviced it and bring it back to me. I have never in my 74 years come across a service like this. Thank you Mike for your empathy and you are an asset to Jim McKay Chevrolet.
