Edit: The dealership not only reached out on Google, but remembered the sale, and contacted me to make things right. It was definitely not necessary but proved that they know how to take care of customers and run a business with customers' best interest in mind. 2 of 5 stars. The good: The salesman was very kind and personable. Sales manager very upfront and respectful. Finance dept was also very nice and very personable and chatty. The bad: Spent 41k and the car was not washed. There were bugs on the backside from being on the trailer. Which tells me it wasn't even cleaned when received. I was specifically told the pressure washer wasn't working so I used a rag and glass cleaner.... on new paint....glass cleaner. Basic things for vehicle delivery were not done, i had to unwrap my own mats and install them and revacuum dirt/debris from the floors. The windows were not wiped clean at the very least, and were very streaked on the rear window. The time spent there, I know it's not a quick process, however the personality of some employees were a little too much for me, it was well past their closing time and the finance employee continued to tell stories and distract from the transaction. Would I go back, yes, they have good inventory and friendly staff, I would just ensure that things are continuously being done to expedite the transaction.
Was a very nice experience. Was going to run by a closer dealership as I was trading in my car that was paid off. Glad I didn’t. Since my grandparents (and pretty much all my fathers side family) then have owned Subaru. 300k miles and they have gotten a newer one but still use the other around town. So I have always wanted one for the reliability but they have also been maki g their “wagon” line better looking. Decided to drive out east to see about a forester and yup, I got a forester sport. Absolutely amazing what features they have and of course…AWD has an edge over a truck with 4x4 due to physics. John my sales rep was very pleasant and, no nonsense “if you want these payments, these are where your looking at for vehicles”. A very important thing as many young drivers will get over their head and it’s not on the dealer or seller to pay the bill. Anyways, enough with the book. If your looking don’t pass on them…or do if you don’t want a “foreign” named vehicle as you will love them once driven and see their reviews for longevity.
I have purchased two vehicles with Subaru of Wichita. David the GM of Sales has been SO great to work with and has taken great care of me. Michael in service is honestly over the top with all he does to make sure his customers are happy. He is very professional in all aspects and I know I can 100% trust him with my car as he’s very honest, transparent and kind. 10/10 !!!
