I had an excellent experience working with truck salesman John Watson. From the very beginning, John Watson made the entire process easy and comfortable. John Watson took the time to listen to what I was looking for, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood every feature of the truck before making a decision. What really stood out about John Watson was his professionalism and honesty. John Watson never pressured me and instead focused on helping me find the right truck for my needs. It’s clear that John Watson truly cares about his customers and wants them to leave happy with their purchase. If you’re looking for a new truck, I highly recommend asking for John Watson. John Watson made the buying experience smooth, straightforward, and actually enjoyable. Great service like the service John Watson provides is hard to find.

I gave this experience a 4.5 stars. The sale person Mr. Todd Pierce did an excellent job finding me a vehicle.  From the moment I emailed the dealership early Saturday morning acquiring about a vehicle to the evening actually picking up the vehicle.  He and Ms. Demijohn really made the whole transaction smooth sailing.  I could not have asked for a better experience.  They really got me a vehicle (2026 Equinox)  that was within my spending limit. However the experience with Mr. Acosta (Business Manager) was not pleasant. When a customer says "No" to additional add ons such as an extended warranty or GAP, he should not continue to get the customer to change their answer.  No is a no.  Had I had a way to leave the dealership while meeting with Mr. Acosta (I was dropped off) , I would have left the vehicle. I started to feel "pressured" to get those add-ons. He would give different scenarios as to what could happen to the vehicle,  and scenarios that happened to other customers who didn't have the extended warranty. He even brought out a pamplet from Suncoast Credit Union "highlighting" their extended warranty would only cover the cheaper cost to fix the vehicle, including using used parts.  Once I continued to decline the add-ons, the environment changed.  Also he did not give me copies of all the paperwork I signed. It was bad on my part to not check the envelope he gave me.  The envelope only contained the long form detailing the financing of the vehicle. I called and asked him for the signed paperwork, which he said he would email over to me.  The following day,  I emailed him asking again for the signed paperwork to which he did reply with the signed paperwork. Maybe Sunset Chevrolet doesn't give all the signed copies unless asked for by the customer.  That was new to me to not have all the signed paperwork provided to the customer upfront. All in all I would give the experience with Mr. Pierce and Ms. Demijohn a 10 and the experience with Mr. Acosta a 1.

Pat Sweetnich was my service advisor at my recent appointment at Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC, and the experience was fantastic. Pat was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, keeping me informed throughout the entire process and making everything feel smooth and stress?free. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. I couldn’t have asked for a better service experience and will definitely be back, and asking for Pat again. Highly recommend!
