2005 Saab 9-2X Linear

I came here to have my (admittedly old) Saab checked over and brought up to speed. Peter has a good reputation online, and deserves it. He is straightforward, knowledgable and experienced with Saabs- and I feel fortunate to have found him. Highly recommended Saab repair, and if I was in the market for a different car, I would feel comfortable buying one from him as well.

WOW! This was a great experience from start to finish. I wish I could shake Peter's hand because I'd be shaking the hand of greatness! I purchased a 2019 Hyundai Elantra from out of state. Peter was up front and honest about everything I asked, no nonsense, I loved that! He was quick to get back to me with any and all of my questions that I had and was super helpful. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate buying cars. They also know that I rarely write reviews. Despite that, my recent purchase from Dan Martin's Auto Depot makes me what to share my experience. Our 1998 V70 served us well for the past 20 years, but had some issues that would prevent it from passing NYS inspection. I decided to look at possible replacements. Initially, I was thinking about picking up a 2-3 year old car, but wasn’t crazy about the current styles. Looking on-line, I happened upon a 2007 V70 at Dan Martin's that looked like it checked all of the boxes. The mileage was low for its age, the condition seemed perfect, it appeared to be well maintained, and the long roof wagon provided lots of room for our two dogs. I don’t make car buying decisions very fast, so I mulled it over for a while before contacting Dan Martin's about its availability (and asking my wife for permission to consider it). Peter promptly replied and sent me a link with loads of pictures that clearly showed the car’s condition. He told me that they had carefully gone over the car and what parts they replaced. The free CarFax showed that the car had been carefully maintained by its previous two owners. The ‘problem’?—I live about 300 miles away from Yonkers, outside Rochester, NY. I toyed with taking the bus or train down to Yonkers to see it and possibly drive it back. Peter was so easy to deal with, that I had confidence to buy the car, without seeing it in person. I wired the money, Peter found a very reasonable shipper to truck it to me, and a few days later, the car was in my driveway. The car was exactly as described, if not better. I feel like I have a new car, at a fraction of the cost. I told Peter, that he made the entire sales process to be as easy as buying something on Amazon. After buying this car, I may not wait another 20 years to buy my next. I highly recommend, without hesitation, Dan Martin's Auto Depot and especially, Peter. For me, it was a welcome change to the car buying experience.
