Sales, Finance: I was surprised with how positive my experience was. I expected haggling, attempts to sell me things I didn't want/need, and risking getting sold a piece of junk. Instead, Johnny (John) Hughes spent about an hour on the first day I visited this location just getting to know me and helping me find exactly what I was looking for. Over the next 3 days he helped me find the best option and get a car financed. The whole way through the process, he acted as if he were my grandpa who was really into cars—making sure I knew what components, ownership history, and kinds of damage to look out for so that I could choose the best used car for my budget. He even gave me tips on how to avoid getting squeezed for more money in the financing process. Eddy at finance made the process and paperwork super clear and easy, and helped me get my vehicle tag and registration in a timely manner despite things proceeding slowly with the NCDMV. Wound up with a vehicle that made it all the way to Zion National Park, Utah, and back this summer with 0 problems. An all-round 5-star experience. Service: Took my vehicle in for regular maintenance and an oil change after my summer trip across the country, and Justin helped me in the queue despite me being late to my appointment and having several vehicles to service ahead of me. Seems the shop is often busy with 2-2.5 hr waits (from reading other reviews), but mine got done earlier than promised and Justin very helpfully walked me through the process and decision-making of the servicing. Would be 5-star overall except that it was a bit more expensive than expected. Overall 4/5 because maintenance is pricey and I just can't promise future customers will have the same experience with sales now that Johnny has left LCJ!
As someone who comes from a family in the commercial car business, I must say I had incredible service. Chris Joyner was exceptional and went above and beyond to cater to my needs. I work for Milwaukee and travel a lot. My car is my lifeline. While it was getting serviced, he was able to make sure I was covered with a loaner car for work and not only that, a Milwaukee red Jeep! I drove it for about 3 days and my colleagues/boss loved it. I will also brag on the other boys in the service center; absolutely great people to be around. Overall, definitely a 5/5 experience and hopefully I don’t have to go back for repairs any time soon. If and when I do run into another situation, I’ll be calling Chris.
A huge thank you to Cody for helping me find my new Wrangler! He went above and beyond helping me find a vehicle that checked all of my boxes and was patient with me through the whole process. He made it a very personable and relaxed experience. I’ll be going back for my next vehicle and would recommend to anyone looking for a jeep!
