Dealer's notes

This 2004 RX-8 is in excllent condition and just out of a collection. Designed as a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, four-door, four-seater quad coup. This low mileage sports car is powered by the RENESIS Wankel engine six-port engine and a six-speed manual transmission and is rated at 238 hp. This sports car has a near 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and a low polar moment of inertia, achieved by mounting the engine behind the front axle and by placing the fuel tank ahead of the rear axle. The manual gearbox model uses a carbon fiber composite driveshaft to reduce the rotational mass (momentum of inertia) connected to the engine. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a torque-sensing conical limited-slip differential for improved handling. Read More

Working with Dan and his team was very beneficial and relaxing. Anytime you purchase something this expensive you need people that follow through and follow up especially when you live on the other side of the United States . I would recommend shopping with them if you’re looking for a classic car.

Bought a restored classic sight unseen (but with an older inspection report). Had Dan confirm the condition by phone, and the car arrived exactly as described. Dan and his crew were professional, courteous and timely responded to phone calls and emails throughout the transaction. They also coordinated with the shipper for an on-time delivery cross-country. All was seamless and well-handled on their end.

I recently purchased a 1967 Corvette convertible from ABclassics. Went to inspect the car in person and it was accurately and fairly represented. What I saw was what I expected based on the ad. I’m sharing this because I’ve had dealings with other classic car owners and let’s just say things were a little less than honest. Not so with Dan (the owner) and the staff at ABclassics. We negotiated a fair price and even agreed to a fair price on shipping as I live in Georgia and had the car shipped from NY. Thanks, Dan it was a pleasure doing business with you.
