In my vast experience with dealership service departments (owning 5 different brand of vehicles), Gunther Mazda stands out because of Mike Yonak, the omnipresent Service Manager who's deeply involved in every single aspect of the operation. It’s rare when you deal with the head honcho first! Not only will you be bombarded with emails and texts from Mike, but you'll also find him everywhere, tirelessly assisting his team in delivering top-notch customer service. He's not just a manager; he's your go-to guy for a chat, some banter, and a laugh about the latest messages he's fired your way. In all seriousness, Mike is a rare breed – you'll never catch him slacking off. And to top it off, he's got a squad of assistant managers, including the one and only Anthony Huerta. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Anthony since I got my hands on the 2023 CX-50 Meridian and received that first memorable message from Mike. The vehicle video inspections during each visit are on another level, and the constant text updates while sipping on complimentary coffee in the tech friendly comfortable customer lounge make the whole process bearable until it's time to face the bill. And to top it off, they even treat your car to a spa day with a wash as the grand finale! While we can't escape the inevitable costs of vehicle ownership, at least the team and the facility at Gunther Mazda make the experience smoother and less stressful.
