Benjamin at Green Auto was pleasant to deal with and I was able to do the transaction quickly through wire service and he was even willing to have the car driven to me (LA to San Diego) for a small charge. Just remember you are getting what you are paying for. The car I purchased was listed 2K under KBB and had been on the market for 20 days so I knew there were probably going to be issues I needed dealing with as it is a very popular model and used ones sell quickly generally. Still it was the exact year I wanted and minimum acceptable mileage with the trim package I was looking for (hard to find) - that coupled with the fact he was willing to have it driven to me made me purchase the vehicle sight unseen. When I met Benjamin I shook his hand and said, tell me what issues you aren't telling me. I already bought the car and I'm willing to do repairs... so what's wrong? He kept insisting that the price was low because he needed to move the vehicle and there were no issues he was aware of. I told him I'm taking it to Lexus dealership for a checkup and will find out, last chance why is it going for such a good deal? Same response. After taking it to Lexus Dealership and full inspection I was given an estimate of $7K to fix issues ranging from frayed radio antennae wire (no reception) to engine cover replacement for oil leakage and damaged sway bars. Granted the dealership might have been trying to ream me. Anyways, I ended up choosing about 3K in repairs for essential issues and probably will take care of the rest down the road because I still really love the vehicle and intend to keep it for awhile. In summary, Benjamin is very pleasant easy to deal with and legitimate. But he's not giving you a discount out of the goodness of his heart or to move inventory. If it's discounted, better bet there's a reason why and he probably won't tell you. Update: took the car for a second opinion and it turns out Lexus was trying to ream me. All total I sunk $3k more into the car and it's in tip top shape now so I got the exact car I wanted for a grand over sticker. Still quite pleased with my purchase thanks Benjamin.
