My dad bought a car from this small family car dealer business. Till today, he has no issues with his car. Kai, the owner of this S. El Monte location is very honest and easy to work with. He made it simple, by making sure the car has a full 101 point inspection, prior selling the vehicle. Like I said we will be back for any future car sales!!! Thank you Kai for servicing your neighborhood!!!

Scheduled an appointment with Lawrence and he pulled out the car to let me look at it. I didn’t feel pressured at all and the process was very transparent. When on the test drive I realized I was a lot more rusty with driving stick than I anticipated. Lawrence was very understanding and offered to have it delivered. I told him I’d think about it and the next day decided to buy the car after seeing all my options. Finalized the transaction over the phone and had it delivered to my address. Car has been overall pretty reliable. Spent just around $500 in parts(alternator, battery, crankshaft position censor etc) which I accounted for and is expected with older cars. CPC was covered under warranty too but I didn’t want to drive back down to South El Monte. Pretty smooth experience for my first car purchase. Update: 10k miles later I had to do some more repairs. Wheel bearing needed to be replaced and I guess the previous owner cross threaded the cv axle. Brake caliper pin also failed due to it being over torque. Doing the incorrect torque specs is a common mistake among tree-shade mechanics and since the car came with aftermarket wheels I’m assuming it was owned by a fellow car enthusiast. Other than that it’s just been basic maintenance(brake pads, fluids, oil, tires etc) I’ve done some light modifications too(aftermarket grille, headlights, stubby antenna, led interior lights) Even with its quirks I’m still very happy with my purchase.

I am pleased to write an amazing review for Lawrence and his automotive dealership, New City Auto. From start to finish, my experience with Lawrence and his team was exceptional. First and foremost, the quality of their inventory is unparalleled. Lawrence and his team take great pride in the vehicles they offer and it shows. Each car on the lot is in pristine condition and has been thoroughly inspected, making it clear that New City Auto only offers the best of the best. Furthermore, the customer service provided by Lawrence and his team was outstanding. From the moment I walked onto the lot, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was given a tour of the inventory and Lawrence patiently answered all of my questions. His knowledge and expertise in the industry were impressive and he went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect car for my needs and budget. The buying process was seamless and hassle-free, thanks to Lawrence's attention to detail and his team's efficiency. The paperwork was handled quickly and accurately, and I drove off the lot in my new car feeling confident and satisfied with my purchase.
