I suggest knowing where you’re going when you purchase a vehicle. Recently bought this 2024 Kia telluride. Didmost, if not all of the leg work to find it. Put a down payment to hold it and told the vehicle would arrive in las cruces within a few weeks. The vehicle arrives in las cruces and we work with a sales women to go there with the required documents the day after it arrived. We get to Pitre in Las Cruces, a little over a three hour drive, and we are barley greeted and ask for Suzanne only to be told “she’s the only women who works here”. Which was not helpful and sounded like he had animosity towards her. We locate Suzanne and immediately go for a short test drive, and are told we would get a full “training”, if you will on the vehicles features later. We sit and go through all the documents we brought, and go over the pre approval documents they provided, then are told to sit and wait. While we wait our sales lady is not showing us all of the features of the new vehicle but instead greeting and assisting others though we set an appointment time. We are then told the manager “messed up paperwork” and we needed to find a new loan holder. We get back and fourth Conversation before asking to speak to the finance employee. Still with our sales lady assisting another potential buyer. I panic and immediately start messaging a mutual FB Friend Fran , whom has sold many vehicles to friends. She listened and walked me through what was happening and explained things clearly as to what may have happened with the loan. I ask if we are too late to have the vehicle transferred to her dealership in Albuquerque. She explained where I’m at and what I could and couldn’t do. She apologized for the inexcusable customer service we were provided at the Pitre in Las Cruces. She also offered to assist in any learning or assistance we needed in the future with our new Kia. Fran made my experience, even from a distance, feel at ease. We should have consulted a trusted employee before driving 3+ hours, and very well learned our lesson. Thank you Fran for your quick response and caring voice on the other end of my panicked phone call. We love our telluride but wish we would have got the full experience of buying a new vehicle.
