2022 Buick Encore Preferred AWD

I had an awesome experience at Thelen Bay City buying an Audi. Zach Cole was extremely helpful and attentive. We had a hard time making a decision and he was very patient and informative about everything. Couldn’t be happier.

I had an issue with my 2021 Q5 shuddering when making a tight turn. The clutch in the rear end is bad. The part (a clutch) costs $2,500. Since I have less than 50,000 miles, the factory warranty covered it. I had the exact same issue with my 2018 Q5, but it was no longer covered by the warranty. I traded it in for a big loss. Getting back to the dealership. When I took the 2021 Q5 to Thelen, they provided me with a loaner vehicle until the vehicle could be diagnosed. I utilized the loaner vehicle from Monday thru Wednesday, when they brought it to my place of work in Ortonville, Michigan. Thelen Auto Group treated me very well, but when I contacted Audi corporation explaining to them that I had the same issue, they did nothing, and told me that I can purchase an extended warranty, which would be very expensive. Due to the inaction of Audi Corporate, this may be my last Audi/VW. We had owned several, a 1965 Beatle, 1984 Audi 5000, 1995 Jetta GLx, 2001 Passat, 2004 Touareg, 2006 Touareg, 2018 Audi Q5, and now a 2021 Audi Q5. I had the oil changed in my 2021 Q5, at a very reasonable price, $114. Previously I had a factory trailer hitch installed for around $300 for the labor. The same hitch would have cost me $1,200 labor at Audi of Rochester Hills. Thelen Auto Group labor price is very reasonable compared to other Audi dealerships.

Just wanted to start off by saying Ruben is by far the best car salesmen I have worked with. Always responded in a timely manner, was willing to work with me on nearly every aspect of the purchase, and a very friendly person overall - he did a great job at breaking the stigma against car salesman. If you are in the area, I would absolutely do my best to get in touch with him. Additionally, Angelo did a great job at getting the paperwork put together and worked out. Mind you that these two stayed past store hours to get this done today, with no implication of a rush or impatience whatsoever. Finally, Shout out to the Audi master technician for giving the seal of approval on the vehicle, as he was well-informed and knowledgeable of the car and offered sufficient affirmation for me in the purchase process. There is not a single negative connotation to be had with the Thelen Family Auto Group. I have confidence that all employees across the board perform just as these 3 above did. Pleasure doing business.
