I dropped my car off for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was instantly greeted by Sidney who had a smile on her face and asked how my day was going. She was very helpful and attentive to my needs. She even remembered an issue I had in the past with my van in the past and wanted to make sure that was still working okay now. I was traveling from South Carolina last week where I was visiting my dad, back to my home state of Maryland when my transmission fluid light came on and it was reading too hot. I was traveling alone and this happened around 7am. I immediately hopped on google to find the nearest Honda dealer (I drive a 2017 pilot), and the closest to me was Davenport. Service opened at 730, and I was greeted by the service advisor Andrew Katkavek. He assured me he could squeeze my vehicle in between appts. Upon further inspection, my transmission fluid was black, where it should have a reddish hue. I was advised to have it flushed, which they did, as well as took care of an outstanding recall that was for the hood. As a single female five hours from home traveling, you can understand the anxiety I was feeling. Andrew reassured me that after the trans flush I would be good to go. We also discussed some other services that my car would need around the 103,000 mile marker. Andrew was so accommodating, friendly, and put me at ease for my travels back to Maryland. He also gave me paperwork and his card, so that once I got back to my home state, If my Honda professional had any questions about services done to the car, they could reach out to Davenport. I would highly recommend Davenport Honda for anyone traveling along the interstate, as well as for the locals! So friendly!
