2005 Jaguar S-Type 3.0

I’m indifferent. I wanted to give it some time before posting my review. Give some time to break the car in. It’s been 2 weeks. I was looking for something very specific and they had it. I came from Philly to buy here because they were the only dealer I could find with the exact car in the exact color and year I wanted at a reasonable price online without driving to Ohio. Buti wanted my numbers and the deal IN THE BAG before I hauled an hour and a half from Philly. Abdul was nice and handled everything professionally. Even the finance guys were nice. I did the finance app online and was told I was approved for the car with a monthly payment of somewhere in the range of the $360s/month with my 3k down. I agree and go get my car. Test drive was good. No problems screaming at me. I did notice some dings here and there and I also knew from the carfax it was in a couple minor accidents. No big deal I’ve bought vehicles in accidents before. It was also a smoker car because there’s a burn hole on the top side panel, but no smell. Again no big deal, they had it priced lower than what kbb valued it at, so I felt I got a decent deal. During the finance part I was hit with $455/month. I said huh???? I was told $360s before I came. Something isn’t adding up. I flat out said if they don’t come down I’m walking and started asking for my down payment back. They ended up working with me and met me in the middle of what I was told before my visit and what it actually was. It’s car sales, I get it. Work with me and I’ll work with you. Mechanically it sounded fine….. until I opened it up on the highway heading home. Loud humming noise when hitting 65mph. I’ve been driving it for 2 weeks and starting to hear AALLLLLLL the sounds. Sounds coming from the passenger wheel area that you cant hear from the drivers side. I only noticed it when I opened the passenger window one day. I went to try and figure out the sounds and noticed one of the rims that I didn’t notice at the dealership is destroyed. Now I’m having to put more money out to fix whatever this problem is coming out of the wheel area. Partially my fault for not being more mindful of the details before signing anything. So with that being said… all in all after 2 weeks of driving I’m in love with the car and it’s exactly what I wanted, just not the things that went unnoticed during delivery. Pay attention because they will knowingly let you drive off the lot with some jacked up rims and weird sounds that you will end up having to get fixed. But it’s a risk you take buying used cars I guess. Maybe the reason why they’ve had it since September until I came along in April. It really is a beautiful car. You wouldn’t expect a 2020 to have many problems but someone definitely beat this things up before. They also put 49k and some change on the title. When I drove it off the lot there was about 50,500 on it. They are a busy dealership and I’m a very understanding and non-confrontational person. I got the car I wanted, I don’t regret it now, but I have a feeling I may very soon…. But let’s stay positive ???? I may recommend this dealership (and Abdul) to anyone while also reminding them to completely look over the car. The prices are great, each and every sales and finance person was professional and friendly. I sat for a bit waiting so I was able to listen in on other sales to see how they treated other patrons. Just pay attention to the details and read every word in the finance contract. With all that being said, I gave on four stars for their professionalism. Deducted a star for the problems with the car after the sale.

Sam, was excellent. He even willingly broke down the numbers (tags/registration) and found a car that fit MY budget. Couldn’t ask for a better car experience, thank you so much for your help, patience, and ability to listen to give the vehicle I WANTED. Highly recommended, will give you the truth, and walk you through it all.
