2017 Land Rover Discovery SE

We just bought our first car for our son at SK Auto Solutions. They were honest, professional, courteous and had excellent communication. The owner made sure we had all of our needs addressed and took time to find a good warranty that we requested. We had something that came up the first week and they made sure that it was fixed and took care of extra measures in a timely matter. Knowing they have great auto repair for his car is also a plus. I definitely recommend SK Auto Solutions. We are so happy we found them and will recommend to friends and family.

I have never written a review – good or bad. We had been looking for a car for my daughter for the winter in Tahoe. In the past, I’ve had a good experience buying a used car from a shop that fixes cars and sells them (I view this as less risky than a buy from owner). So we found a car that fit our needs with Karl. We purchased the car and my daughter drove it to Tahoe. About a week later we had a minor problem with the car. My daughter did not have the time to drive the car back to his shop (and wait for the fix) so Karl made arrangements to have the car taken to his shop and then delivered it once the work was completed – he had no obligation to do any of this. Karl went above and beyond. He stood behind his work. If I need another used car, I’d buy it from Karl.

Remarkable service! I went to SK Auto Solutions for my recent Audi A6 purchase, and was greeted by Karl. The car was in outstanding condition for viewing (immaculately clean, ALL features functioning properly, running like a top), and the listing price was very reasonable. I asked Karl about it's maintenance history and any work they had done, to which he explained various preventive services they preform before showing a vehicle for sale. When I went to test drive it, there was not a single indication of issues. Feeling confident about the quality of service at that point, I went ahead with the purchase. The paperwork was as simple as it needed to be, and there were no unexpected fees. He told me that if I have any issues with the car to feel free to reach out. The whole process was completely painless because they had done an excellent job of preparing the vehicle for sale, and made it easy to buy. As with all things mechanical, not every problem can be prevented of course. A week or so after buying it, I noticed the coolant was just a little low, and then a component of the climate-control system decided it was time to fail. Being an as-is purchase with no warranty, I was aware that SK Auto had absolutely no obligation to help me. Contrary to this, when I reached out to Karl, he offered to fix it free of charge. Being a mechanic myself, it wasn't necessary for me to drive back down for this. Instead, **they actually covered the cost of the part, plus extra for me having to do it!!** It's clear that SK Auto Solutions is committed to being a stand-up, honest, and reliable dealership. I would absolutely recommend going to them whether its for purchasing a vehicle, or having service preformed on yours.
