Dealer's notes

Here is a really stunning looking Bentley Brooklands sedan finished in rich Royal Blue metallic with deep red twin fine-lines to the waist-rail. The interior sports a very eye-catching Surf blue with deep red accented piping and floor rug edging. This Brooklands is in simply superb condition with a low 66,000 miles. Her condition is amazing throughout and can be accurately described as truly near new. Pretend you are in the year 1997, say, and you are buying this 1993 from your Bentley dealer; this is its condition! The Bentley Brooklands is powered by a 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce designed V8 engine with the Bosch fuel injecton system. This is what is known as a 40,000 series car (VIN# 46,287) so it contains all the engineering and electrical improvements of the model and is considered the best of the SZ series (Silver Spirit/Bentley series 1981-1997). It has the look and a true behemoth it is! With the Dark blue and completely colour-coded bumpers, this is indeed a handsome beast. 1993 saw the introduction of the first new gearbox in some 24 years and the re-introduction of the console gear-shifter. The 1993 year model Bentley has a unique, but discreet, hallmark with the B badges on the wheels and grill-nose in green. The rectangular Bentley and Brooklands badge are also inscribed in this same green. This is a real Bentley when they were an integral part of Rolls-Royce; built side-by-side Rolls-Royces using Rolls-Royce parts, Rolls-Royce engineering, Rolls-Royce manufacturing and craftsman, all on the same factory production line which made Crewe famous for everything and anything Rolls-Royce AND Bentley. This one is a well maintained 2-owner example with a good clean Carfax history. Interestingly, the car was sold new not until 1995. The first owner had the car until 2005 and the 2nd up until we purchased her. The car was regularly maintained with a good service history. This car shows all the hallmarks of a perfect example in this regard. It has recently been thru Park-Wards workshop, fully inspected, and anything requiring documented accordingly. Under the bonnet, the presentation is amazing. It has not been precision detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The body of the car is straight and the paint deep in lustre and consistency. Upon walking around the car, it is hard to find any little chips, minor blemishes and marks. The paint it is very shiny without any fading, dents or dings and certainly presents beautifully for show and general driver use. Rubbers, mouldings, badges and external fittings are all in good condition. The interior on this car is simply stunning. The Connolly leather shows beautifully and is very original. It has never been re-dyed or messed with and yet remains super soft and supple without any signs of wear. It barely even shows a wrinkle in the leather! The wood throughout is very good and all original showing only very minor marks here and there. Overall, the wood is in excellent condition. Carpets, seats, dash, headlining and fixtures are truly excellent and I best encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely the interior presents. There are close up photographs of the controls and these look like new. As part of Park-Wards Predelivery Commissioning program, not only are all the major and minor services attended to, but all electricals and features & functions are inspected and serviced as required, so everything is operating as it should; windows, seats, mirrors, A/C, heater, lights, wipers, etc. Right down to every light bulb in the dash. This is a true, take the keys and drive example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances or gremlins. This is clearly a car that has been owned by conscientious (and wealthy!) private collector type owners, so it has all the signs of a well-maintained example. It is tight to drive, powerful to drive, brakes strong and rides as a Bentley should. Read More

Rodd Sala is the definition of a gentleman and a true master of his craft. I was extremely fortunate to purchase my first vintage Rolls-Royce from him and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. I can’t recommend Rodd and Park-Ward Motors any more strongly. If you are in the market for a vintage Rolls-Royce or Bentley you have found the absolute perfect place!

I bought a Silver Shadow that had been neglected for years (not from Park-Ward!), and on my quest to recommission it I came across PWM. Rodd and his team are so knowledgeable and helpful. They invited me to their shop to see some of their work, gave me plenty of free advice and supplied parts and rebuild services for things like accumulators and control valves at a very reasonable cost. Whenever I need parts or troubleshooting advice, PWM is the first place I call. They rebuilt the heads for my shadow and did a MAGNIFICENT job. I was never so happy to pay a service bill in my life. Hard to find honest, reliable, reasonably priced services for these cars. PWM checks all of those boxes every time. If you have never been in their showroom and you like Roll-Royce/Bentley Motorcars, you are really missing out!
