Sky Motor went above and beyond my expectations for a used car dealer. I’m in Illinois so this was completely an out of state transaction. They had multiple inspections done on the vehicle and the carfax. One inspection was by a third party company that specializes on European vehicles. I was able to talk to the supervisor & the tech that inspected the vehicle. Everyone was very open and apparently honest about the vehicle. They shared all of the work and repairs done on the vehicle and why it was done. My contact at Sky was Kevin Reese. He was great! I raised an issue I had with him, and immediately he apologized and came up with a satisfactory solution. Everything else was him listening to what I wanted and delivering. I even asked for some services & products they don’t provide. Kevin found top notch providers and got it DONE! Kevin found a great vehicle transporter with a competitive price. I got my vehicle in great condition and sooner than I expected. All of the paperwork, keys, temporary tag etc etc was with the vehicle when it was delivered. The shipper was in contact with me to select a time and location of delivery that worked for me. You have no idea how skeptical and unsure I was about this process of completely purchasing out of state. I wanted to fly out a couple of times just to see the vehicle and make sure this wasn’t a scam. I couldn’t because of work. Kevin did everything I could think of to put my fears and concerns at ease. I would buy from him and Sky Motor again in a heartbeat !
Working with Justin was a great experience! Super responsive communication from him and his team at Sky. Very accommodating of my timeline, knowing I was taking a bit of a road trip here. Knowledgeable and helped me understand the process, as a first time car buyer. He was transparent about the car and its previous history - no shady tactics here - and after a month of ownership, have had nothing but a great car. I also appreciate that Sky stores their cars indoors, and are very informed about every vehicle in their inventory. There isn’t much room for negotiation of prices, but my car was priced fairly for the market so that’s to be expected. Overall, great experience and a quality business. Thanks!
