Ok so, I came and purchased a 2008 Volvo v70. I’ve wanted a Volvo wagon as long as I can remember. It drove great for the first day, but on day 2 I noticed something off. I shut the car off and called immediately. He told me not to worry and he would come to where I was at so we can figure it out. Long story short, we got the car to a shop to be fixed, and he is temporarily switching the car out with another for my family and I. Any worries you have, any doubts you may have at any other used car dealer, you won’t have them here. Everyone here is nothing but helpful. And they all banded together to make a negative situation into a positive experience overall. I would highly highly highly recommend spriggs to anyone trying to buy a used car. They are not unfair, they are not rude, and they do not lie. You can take what they say to the bank. Will come back and update when everything is resolved. Edit: 6 months later and this car has been nothing but trouble. He helped me with that one issue when I first got it, but number 1: it was in the shop for weeks, the injectors were clogged according to them, my whole ac and heat system wouldn’t work and also my front passenger window wouldn’t go up and down. When I got the car back I noticed the motor from the driver side back seat was swapped to the passenger side front window. I also mentioned they did nothing with the ac. He took the car again, this time he didn’t offer me a rental or exchange so I can get to work. After several days, he calls and says his shop said they physically can’t do the repair because they don’t know how. He then tells me he will get up with Volvo in Greenville, and at that point I figure I’m getting the run around so I just say ok. Long story short, 6 months the later, no words, no effort, and my ac heat and defrost still doesn’t work. I really really hate how what I thought was going to be such a wonderful experience turned out to be terrible. And what I thought was a good hearted person turned out to be like everyone else. Be careful, he will sell you something very broken if you let him.
