It's a convoluted story, but that's partly what makes it a good one, and it's where Huber's Auto shines! I had my 2014 Passat in for scheduled transmission service at the second interval of approx 105k miles. The transmission had always been a bit clunky with harder down-shifting, and delayed response which resulted in lots of abrupt gear changes, but it was getting worse. We scheduled for the transmission to be specifically analyzed for any code displays, and anything that would indicate an electronic issue. Randall believed that what it needed was a complete "reset" of the transmission, which emptied the history and required it to be recalibrated and programmed anew. Instead of purchasing another auto, I feel like I'm driving a new car!!! And when I mentioned it to Eric ( Sales Mgr ) that I won't need to buy a car from him, his first reaction was to say that it was great news! I have only respect for the entire business and the caliber of the individuals who work there; their integrity, ingenuity, quality workmanship, and personable and professional interaction are exemplary.
