1 of 1000 Special Edition MC40 Cars! Runs and Drives well! One of the more unique R53 Minis and if you know what it is you'll appreciate it! It does have some higher miles but it is in nice mechanical condition as well as beautiful cosmetic condition! Its been in our collection since 2021 alongside our other one (also seen in the backgrounds of our showroom photos) awaiting mini-restorations... no pun intended. This one came from Utah so 99% rust free, just one bubble the size of a grain of rice on the tailgate but everything else including the undercarriage is really clean and not even an oil drip! The wheels are decent but have a little corrosion on the lips. Mechanically it drives great like I said. There are no warning lights on and we've driven it about 175 miles the past month or so. 2 things we have noted that will need attention is the gas gauge doesn't read empty when it is empty and the a/c doesn't blow cold, the compressor comes on, but it is not cold out of the vents just cool. Pretty sure its going to be the expansion valve that needs replacing due to our quick hunch based on what we see and hear.
