This is David Riley I am the owner of Riley's Auto Sale's. Rebecca Valenz did indeed buy a car from us and did indeed call us 3 days after buying the car to say the check engine light came on! We told her to take it to our mechanic to see what is going on! SHE NEVER WENT! Then 3 weeks later out of the blue calls, she calls us and tells us that her car is overheating! So AGAIN!! We tell her to take it to our mechanic, to see what's going on! SHE NEVER SHOWS UP AT THE MECHANIC'S, NEVER CALLS US AND THEN WRITES THIS REVIEW FOR WHATEVER REASON!! SO WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSSED TO DO??? SO, even after all this, we are still willing to help you! we have called you about taking it to the mechanics since we made appointments for you, but you never show up?? He blocks out time for you when we make an appointment for you and when you don't show he dings me $50.00! So we can only do so much for people! This was a 2002 VW Beetle and a 20 year old car will always give you problem so here we are!! When you post stuff like this it's very damaging to the business especially when you don't tell the whole story!

I purchased my vehicle from D & D auto sales this past year and was very pleased working with the staff and the vehicle was everything that was reported. After my vehicle was totaled by a fallen tree I went directly back to D & D and purchased another vehicle. Thank you for your great service!

I went in not expecting to be driving away with what I got. First let me say that the owner was very polite and listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle. He suggested a vehicle based on my needs and what I was looking for to replace my Ford Explorer. He put me into a very nice, safe and reliable 2000 Subaru Outback. I didn't lose my drivers seat adjustments which helps tremendously with easing my back pain during long drives, I didn't lose my 4 wheel drive capabilities and I didn't lose my cargo space (it's actually larger than the Explorer) and I didn't end up in a car that was super low to the ground (which is what I dreaded the most). I gained AMAZING gas mileage, newer year vehicle with less miles, leather seats, two sunroofs, a middle shoulder and lap belt for my son and so much more! I believe this car is very safe as the owner stated, we got rear ended 4 days after purchasing and it didn't even make a dent in the bumper. I learned there is actually a whole safety panel beyond the bumper for extra protection. Although I told myself I'd never be one of those moms who drove what looked like a station wagon, I am beyond pleased with my purchase and glad that I felt comfortable enough to trust the owner and his suggestion. Thank you D&D! When I'm ready to upgrade to a newer model, I'll check with you first! :)
