Dealer's notes

DEALER CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 90-POINT INSPECTION COMPLETEDInspected and reconditioned by our own service team before listing. Purchased at our full out-the-door price, this vehicle includes Level 1 Quality Plus Auto Protection Plan coverage plus our 5-Year Maintenance Plan at no additional cost details below.Proudly serving customers with over 22,000 vehicles sold.2017 Porsche Panamera 4 Black over Black Leather 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 40,186 Miles BRANDED TITLE READ THIS BEFORE ANYTHING ELSEThis vehicle carries a Manufacturer Buyback / Lemon Law title brand. Porsche repurchased it from its original owner in 2019 under lemon law, and the brand has appeared on every title record since. It is permanent, it follows the car forever, and CARFAX does not extend its Buyback Guarantee to this vehicle as a result. What that means for you, plainly: a branded title reduces resale value published industry guidance puts the discount at roughly 15% to 30% below an identical clean-title car, and Kelley Blue Book's figure for branded titles generally runs 20% to 40%. It can also make financing harder, since some lenders will not write against a branded title and others price the risk in. Insurance is normally available but may be valued differently at claim time. When you eventually sell this car, the brand will still be on it.What CARFAX does not tell us: what the original defect was. That information exists in most states the manufacturer must disclose in writing both the defect that caused the buyback and the repair performed. Ask us for that documentation and ask any Porsche dealer to pull the VIN's repair history before you commit. A buyback where the defect was genuinely fixed and fully documented is a very different car from one where it wasn't, and you are entitled to know which this is.We are not going to bury this three paragraphs down and hope you skim past it. Everything below assumes you have read this. WHAT YOU'RE ACTUALLY GETTING 90-point inspection completed at our own shop, Duluth Auto Service & Imports, before listing. OBDII scan: all drive monitors completed, zero stored or pending trouble codes. Reconditioning by our own service team (07/2026): front and rear brake pads, brake pad wear sensors, cabin air filter, oil and filter change, and a full pre-delivery inspection. Estimated retail value at Porsche dealer rates: approximately $1,650 $2,380 (our estimate CARFAX documents the work performed, not what it costs). Passed Georgia emissions inspection 06/24/2026 at 40,185 miles the fourth consecutive annual pass. The earlier emissions history is disclosed in full below. 40,186 miles on a 2017 under 4,500 a year. The second owner covered barely 2,500 miles a year and kept it for over six years. No accidents or damage reported to CARFAX. No structural damage, no airbag deployment, no total loss, and no odometer discrepancy across both owners. 18 service history records, the early ones all at Porsche dealerships in California and Georgia. One open safety recall, disclosed below repairable free of charge at any Porsche dealer. The original owner's manual books are included. This car has one key. A replacement Porsche key is not cheap budget for a second one if you want a spare, and factor that into what you offer us. REAL VALUEPricing a branded-title car honestly takes two steps, and we are going to show you both.Step one what a clean-title version of this car is worth. These four sources price a 2017 Panamera 4 at this mileage and condition, and none of them has an input for a title brand: Manheim Adjusted Retail Average: $37,100 J.D. Power Retail Book: $39,925 Kelley Blue Book Typical Listing Price: $41,940 Market average for comparable listings: $42,721Step two subtract the brand, because it is real. Applying the published 15% to 30% branded-title discount to that band puts this car somewhere around $25,800 to $36,300. Separately, CARFAX's History-Based Value is $36,850 and CARFAX is the one source above that actually knows about the brand, listing the buyback and the open recall as downward factors in its own calculation. CARFAX takes a lighter view of the brand than the industry rule of thumb does. Two independent methods, and they bracket the answer. We put honest market value for this car in the $25,800 $36,850 range, and we would rather hand you that whole uncomfortable spread than quote you a clean-title book number and let you find out later. There is no national percentage that is exactly right for one specific car compare local branded-title Panameras before you decide what this one is worth to you.On top of that: roughly $1,650 $2,380 of fresh documented reconditioning. Our 5-Year Maintenance Plan 25 discounted oil changes, radiator service, AC service, engine diagnostics, and hundreds of additional discounts with no year or mileage limits ($2,500 value). And Level 1 Quality Plus Auto Protection Plan coverage on engine, transmission, and drivetrain ($300 retail value, covering up to $1,500 should the engine or transmission fail).Total: roughly $30,300 to $42,000 of value in this vehicle. That range is wide because the honest uncertainty is wide, and narrowing it artificially would be the dishonest move. Weigh the whole picture against price alone. Market pricing moves, and we're always happy to pull a current market pricing report for you on request. Price is only what you pay, but value is what you get. VEHICLE HISTORY (FULL TRANSPARENCY)The title brand is covered in full at the top of this listing. If you skipped it, go back it is the most important thing on this page. One open safety recall: NHTSA #23V033, Porsche recall #APA1, replacing the external coolant pump. Porsche issued this in 02/2023 because humidity can enter the climate system's external coolant pump and cause a short circuit and, in some cases, thermal damage including after the car is switched off, if the residual-heat AUTO-REST function has been used. Porsche advised owners to park outdoors until the remedy was performed. The remedy is available now and the repair is free of charge at any authorized Porsche dealer. CARFAX shows no record of it having been completed, so treat it as outstanding and have it done. Call 1-800-PORSCHE to find a dealer.CARFAX also lists four Porsche voluntary service actions oxygen sensors downstream of the catalytic converter (#WLB7), DME control unit reprogramming (#WKH7), a positive crankcase ventilation hose (#WLD5), and seat control unit coding (#WMJ6). These are customer-satisfaction campaigns rather than safety recalls. CARFAX does not record whether each was completed; a Porsche dealer can confirm against the VIN in minutes, and we'd suggest asking for that alongside the recall.Emissions history, told straight. This car failed Georgia emissions in 01/2020, 09/2021, and 10/2022. After the 2022 failure an oxygen sensor was replaced, and it has passed every test since 09/2023, 10/2024, 09/2025, and 06/2026 at 40,185 miles. That is four consecutive clean passes. CARFAX notes that repeated emissions failures can indicate engine problems, which is fair and which is why we are showing you the whole sequence rather than only the recent passes. The trajectory is genuinely good, but you should know both halves of it.Ownership. The first owner leased the car in California in 2017 and it was serviced repeatedly at a Porsche dealership over its first 15,000 miles before Porsche repurchased it in 2019. The second owner bought it in Georgia in 2020 and kept it for over six years and roughly 20,000 miles. We would point that out: someone who keeps a buyback for six years generally is not fighting it.Recent independent service. In 06/2026 at 40,113 miles an independent Porsche specialist replaced the engine oil filler cap and seal and checked the powertrain control module. Not our work and not counted in our reconditioning figure above, but worth knowing about.Warranty status. Basic, drivetrain, and roadside coverage have expired. CARFAX estimates roughly 39 months of corrosion coverage may remain. Separately and this matters on a buyback manufacturers are generally required to warrant the repaired defect when the vehicle is resold. Ask Porsche what, if anything, still applies to this VIN.Expect honest nine-year-old wear. Paint, wheels, leather, and trim will show use. On this car more than most, we would rather you inspect it than take our word for anything. BUYER'S GUIDE & REALISTIC EXPECTATIONSFederal law requires every dealer to post a Buyers Guide on each used vehicle, and you'll sign one at purchase. Almost nobody reads it, so here's what it names: frame and body, engine, transmission and drivetrain, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling system, electrical system, fuel system, exhaust, and air conditioning the systems that can fail on any used vehicle regardless of how well it presents. On an out-of-warranty Porsche, add the segment reality: parts and labor are expensive, an independent specialist is worth finding before you need one, and deferred maintenance costs far more here than on an ordinary car. The separate As-Is acknowledgment you'll sign is a narrower document and is not what we're pointing at here. A used vehicle is used, and we'd rather set a real expectation than make a promise that can't hold. PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONWe're happy to accommodate a pre-purchase inspection at a Carma-verified shop, on-site or within a 10-mile radius, prior to finalizing your purchase and once terms are agreed upon. On a branded-title Porsche we would go further and actively encourage you to use it, ideally at a Porsche specialist. Ask your sales consultant for details. I drove 4 hours to check out a truck from another dealer and left disappointed. I was pretty sure I’d be driving home empty handed but I decided to swing by Carma since it was on the way home. Really glad I did too. I found the perfect truck and Jacob made the entire process a breeze. No pressure or sleazy tricks, just real people and fair prices.
