I had been looking for a replacement for the Audi S7 that I sold two years ago. After several months of searching, I located a low mile 2016 that was in pristine condition at Euro Prestige Imports in Charlotte, NC. My contact person was Marcel Diaz. It was after business hours and a Saturday to boot, but Marcel was in the building and answered the phone. We chatted for a bit about the car. I explained that I lived in Georgia, and was somewhat reluctant to drive 4.5 hours to Charlotte due to the many times I had previously been misled and ultimately disappointed as the vehicles I had looked at previously were never as nice as they were said to be. Marcel then offered to do a FaceTime walk around so I could see the car in real time. He was thorough and very knowledgeable concerning all aspects of the vehicle. I was very impressed. Upon completing the FaceTime walk around, I gave him a deposit to hold the car and made an appointment to see the car in person that Monday. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Marcel. At first glance, it was very obvious that the vehicle had been well maintained and loved. We walked around the car together and discussed items that their shop mechanics had repaired. The list included new rear brakes, 4 new tires, flushed all fluids, and an oil change. This showed they really care about the quality and safety of the vehicles they sell. He explained that one of the mirror turn signals has stopped working, but he had ordered the part and it would be there in a few days and that they would install it if I would be willing to bring the car back to them. I agreed. We went for the test drive and I was sold. We went back to their facility, did the paperwork and I proceeded to drive it home. About an hour into the drive home, the speedometer stopped working. It was still recording miles, but the needle was stuck at 40 mph. I immediately called Marcel and explained what the issue was. He said it wasn’t a problem and that they would take care of it. At the same time as the speedometer issue, the cruise control stopped working. He told me to drive it home and give him a call the following day to make an appointment to do the repairs. I made the appointment for the following week. They had a very nice loaner car waiting for me. There were a few other issues that I discovered while I was driving the car. He asked for the list and said they would make it right. There were some things that had to be done by Audi, so they took it to the local dealer to have those items taken care of. The speedometer had to be removed and shipped out to be repaired. Anyway, they had the car for three weeks. When I went to pick up the car, everything had been taken care of including the small items I had given them on the list. Keeping in mind this is an Audi, and parts and labor aren’t cheap……these repairs were very costly. He showed me the receipts for the repairs, gave them to me for my records and handed me the keys. I was a bit shocked by this. I had bought the car “As Is” so I expected that I would be paying for at least some of the repairs. I then offered to pay half of the costs, but he refused saying We want our customers satisfied and It’s the cost of doing business. He then said to me, the next time you’re looking for a vehicle, I want you to think of us. That will definitely be the case should I be in the market for another vehicle. In closing……..Euro Precision Imports is a top notch class act! It is refreshing to see a business that takes their reputation seriously and stands behind what they sell. I highly recommend them.
