I had been looking for a couple of months for a car, using Marketplace, CarGurus and Auto Trader. I found what I had been looking for with ABY. He was friendly, efficient and not pushy. Very pleasant experience!
I purchased a used car (2017 Honda Civic Coupe) on September 1, 2022 through Aby. I spoke to many dealers and looked at many listings on car gurus, etc over a period of about 3 weeks. Aby had the car we wanted with low mileage at an attractive price. I was also able to get a straight answer on the total price to drive it off the lot. Other dealers were adding a lot of other mark ups that Aby did not. I did all of this by phone and internet from NY. I was a little wary doing all this long distance. Aby was totally professional and honest. He explained everything step by step and was very patient and kind. He used FaceTime to show us the car. He even pointed out where body work had been done and sent us a copy of the Car Fax Report. Once we decided on going forward with the car, he recommended we get a pre purchase inspection from a local mechanic we choose from looking at yelp reviews. We set up an appointment and he drove the car over to the mechanic for the inspection. Mechanic confirmed the car was mechanically sound and recommended we buy it. We landed at LAX and went to pick up the car. We test drove the car and all paperwork was ready. It was a very smooth process and I can't emphasize how trustworthy Aby was throughout. Just a word of caution that it took DMV almost 2 months to get us the title, registration, and then license plates to us. It was nerve wracking waiting so long but this was not the fault of Aby. I am writing this review because now that we have everything, I can say with confidence that Aby did everything he said he would and was completely above board. He was a pleasure to deal with and that is not usually how you describe the experience of buying a used car! I would highly recommend working with Aby and Irvine Coast Motors.
