Past Chairman of the Board and CEO John Wiesner was born in Richmond, Texas and grew up in Hempstead. He married Beth Sorsby, also of Hempstead. They were graduates of Southern Methodist University. Mr. Wiesner started his automotive career in Hempstead in 1949, then moved to Baytown. In 1977, he purchased the Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership in Conroe which is now the main headquarters for the Wiesner Automotive Group. Today the Wiesner Family carries on the tradition started by their father and grand-father by maintaining that great level of trust through community involvement, promoting quality brands and standing behind the motto "Buy for Less at Wiesner".

If I could buy a car from Stephen with Wiesner Hyundai every time I need a car, I would.. he stayed in contact with me for multiple weeks after my original car was totaled. There was a specific car I wanted that wasn’t on the lot just yet. Stephen kept in constant contact with estimated delivery dates and even lots of photos of the car once it arrived. I have been in customer service for 10+ years and I know an incredible employee when I see one. 10/10.

Yesterday, my husband and I went into the Wiesner Hyundai dealership to have some maintenance done on our 2022 Palisade SEL. While we were there, we were approached by the salesman, Ricky Baird and asked if we were interested in upgrading my vehicle. We figured, why not look around. I wound up falling in love with the 2024 Palisade, Calligraphy edition. Ricky made our entire trade in process easy breezy! We have 3 small children, and Ricky was so accommodating and patient with our family of 5. He turned Elmo on for our 18m old. He was pulling toys out of his desk for our 3 & 6 yr old. He was PHENOMENAL!! My husband and I have bought several new vehicles and NEVER experienced such hospitality and kindness for a salesman. The dealership was very clean. They had endless snacks for the kids. Franny the service manager even shared her personal box of fresh cookies with our children. I can go on and on. Point is, we were completely blown away by their customer service. We were treated like family throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a new vehicle, Ricky is your guy! 10/10 stars! ??
