2023 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor Plus

We had a fantastic experience in leasing a Polestar 2 from Polestar Charlotte. The initial conversation with Matteo and Johnny was very resourceful where they offered excellent advise about the car and leasing vs purchasing a CPO. I decided to lease a 2024 PS2. The leasing process itself was seamless and the pickup from University Volvo took less than an hour. Matteo was extremely knowledgeable about the car and its features and set us up with everything we needed (infotainment, car key, app etc). Overall, perhaps the most friendly and hassle free experience of car buying / leasing i have had so far. Strongly recommend them as a dealership and the Polestar 2 EV.

The Brief: Everyone was great, from Matteo Bertone (wonderful to work with, knowledgeable, very attentive and reliable), Johnny Dunbar (On-point, factual, man of his word with integrity), Daniel Lechner (In finance who completed my buying experience expressing both our love for old school rides and keeping me smiling). Lastly, Jonathan THE deliveryman with a interesting background giving me enough knowledge to know there will be so much to learn and enjoy this fantastic car! Can't wait for my first road trip short-charging session while watching a Amazon video tv show on the Infotainment screen. The Details: I came to the Polestar showroom in Charlotte NC which isn't the easiest place to find, but a very nice showroom in the building they are located in on the 2nd week of December 23' to take a closer look at the 4th and newest car in my research in the line of BEV's I was considering. The Polestar presenter Matteo, who imo is a fantastic person, took me for a test drive and showed the P2's various features I know to be expensive add-on's in the likes of the BMW i4 in which I also test drove and on the short list. He had me notice the feel of the ride which was already in my mind as I drove it, the fantastic interior that makes Tesla's appear as cheap and bland as a flat $1 store brand vanilla soda. I enjoy the fact the P2 has plenty of power and swiftness even in the RWD single-motor version! I came this ( ) close to moving up to the dual-motor Performance Pack 455hp/740nm torque!?! . The sales manager Johnny presented a very compelling financial package that when I was leaving to contemplate my options for more days/weeks of thought I didn't make to my car, turned around, paid the small deposit and a few days later I am now (as a previous10yo hybrid owner) a very happy 1st entry into full BEV and know as a Volvo product its of high quality and value. I hope you read thru it all to say to yourself.. "I need to call and ask for Matt and Johnny!!"

Awesome team! Johnny, Jonathan and AJ were great! These guys accommodated my disorder and inability to drive the long distance to Charlotte. Truly great people to work with and Polestar is lucky to have them. I have to also include ML! She brought me a polestar 2 to my house for the test drive. They have taken Customer service and care well above my expectations. Well done!
