2023 Volvo C40 P8 Recharge Plus AWD

We met with Steve VanderZwet a while back when starting to look at a gas/hybrid vs all electric Crossover/SUV. He was kind enough to answer all of our questions and gave us a demonstration and short drive explaining the XC60 vehicle. We weren't ready to commit to anything then and was understandable with no post visit pressure. We were very impressed with his demeanour, knowledge and willingness to help us with our needs. Several months later when we were more in the market for a new car we returned to Volvo Cars of Silver Spring with the intention of reconnecting with Steve. Which we did and have been very pleased with the entire purchase experience. He and Bruce King couldn't have been any more courteous and polite going over the XC40 that we eventually purchased and explaining the vehicle options as well as discussing the pros and cons of leasing and buying the vehicle. The experience of purchasing and leasing the vehicle was very easy and hassle/stress free. Besides the value of the vehicle, the wonderful impression we were left with of Volvo Cars of Silver Spring will not only have us be returning customers but also relay this by word of mouth to many friends and acquaintances when discussion of needing a new car comes up. It was truly an pleasant experience in a commodity acquisition that can be anything but. If you're looking to buy a Volvo in the Baltimore/DC area, you will not go wrong working with both of these people. I highly recommend Volvo Cars of Silver Spring. I worked with Peter on trading in my previous Volvo to purchase a newer one over Memorial Day weekend. There was a slight issue once I took the vehicle home, but Peter and the manager Bruce were very professional and quick to resolve the issue even though it was a holiday day weekend. I have also used this dealer for service on my previous Volvo which is why I wanted to purchase the vehicle with them as their service department is great. I will continue to take my car for service here and recommend any one in the market for a Volvo to buy from them!! I've had bad experiences with other Volvo dealers in the DMV area, but Volvo Cars of Silver Spring has always been outstanding from sales, management to the service department.
