Just had major work done on my Yukon here and the experience was top notch! From being honest about the timeline to communicating frequently during the process, I was very impressed. Even when there was a bit of a setback, they were upfront about it and it ended up not really impacting the timeline. When I got my car back it was impeccably clean - both inside and out. I would definitely return if I ever needed any work done.
If you're wondering about the service department at Christopher's Dodge Ram, they're fantastic. I've been there a couple of times and each time, I worked with the service advisor, Larry Workman. The guy's a gem. Always picks up the phone or gets back to you super fast if you leave a message. And it's not just Larry – everyone there is just so nice. You know how some dealerships can feel a bit cold, especially the big corporate ones? Not this place. They make everything easy and comfortable. It's like they actually want to help you, not just shuffle you through the system. The work they do? Top-notch, really professional. They do exactly what they say they're going to, and they get it done quickly. But what I really love about them is how friendly they are. They treat you almost as if they're taking care of their own parents' car. If you need your car serviced, I'd definitely recommend them. They take care of their customers and they seem to actually care about doing a great job, which is pretty rare these days at a dealership.
Purchased a 2019 Promaster 2 weeks ago. When I first showed up the van had not been sent through the shop to get its inspection. I told the sales people that I would not purchase or put a deposit down on a vehicle that hasn't been looked at after a good amount of pressure. A few days later they called saying it was sent through and had a few things done but looked great. I purchased it and the next morning there was a big puddle of oil in our driveway. I called and was sent to the service department but already was on western slope for work. On the way there we went through 3 quarts of oil and ended up taking it in to a shop there. The oil cooler housing had been cracked. The RAM dealership on the west slope told us it was the previous people that had done an oil change on the van caused the damage. I understand the risk you take when purchasing a used vehicle and that mistakes happen, but missing (or causing) something that would have caused catastrophic damage isn't okay. I am giving 2 stars because everyone I worked with was kind, but taking away 3 because I was sold a van that should not have passed the inspection. UPDATE: Christophers reached out after this review and asked what they could do to help. They offered to reimburse me for the work that was done in Grand Junction and apologized for the trouble. I have been impressed by the follow up and follow through with their customer service.
