In July, I purchased my 2016 Toyota 4Runner from Carolina Auto Brokers of Hickory, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding!

From the moment I walked in, Devan was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent. He patiently answered all of my questions, explaining every feature and detail of the car without any pressure to make a quick decision. I could tell right away the 4Runner was exactly what I’d been searching for, but I wanted to do my due diligence and check out other dealerships in the area first.

What a difference! At other lots, I felt rushed, pressured, and pushed toward vehicles I didn’t even want—simply because they didn’t have a 4Runner in stock. The contrast made me appreciate Devan and the team at Carolina Auto Brokers even more.

I have to start by saying this is the best experience I have ever had buying a car.

Most of the time I would say buying a car or even going out to a lot to look at cars can be stressful and frustrating. You are on guard for the sales tactics to pressure you into something or hidden charges. Worse, if you do find something you like, then you find salespeople who have no power to negotiate and run back and forth to a sales manager wasting your time and only to really get no wiggle room in the end.

At Carolina Auto Brokers of Hickory, I felt like I was buying a car from a friend when I worked with Devan. When I first got there and walked in Devan was friendly but not fake. He was helpful but not hovering. He was honest with what the car was and any flaws or perks it had. I never felt pressured, only encouraged.

When it came time to negotiate on the price he was very honest on the final cost and explained the break down. He was very reasonable and was able to work with me without having to go back and forth with 100 layers of management.

He and the team at Carolina Auto Brokers of Hickory made this the best experience I have had buying a car. Devan could teach classes for other dealerships on how to really provide a customer focused experience.

I will absolutely return the next time I need a new car.
