We have a '17 VW Alltrack that a slow coolant leak that I took to Auto Sport Imports to have diagnosed. The technicians there were able to confirm my suspicions of it being a known issue with the water pump/thermostat housing assembly and provided a quote for the repair. However, what surprised me the most was how honest they were by telling me that there was an extended warranty on this part and to have a VW dealer fix it under warranty. They didn't have to tell me this and it speaks volumes of their integrity and honesty. It is difficult finding reputable shops but I've definitely found my new shop for all my VW service/maintenance and would recommend you give them a shot as well. By the way, the estimate for the work they provided was also cheaper/fairer than what the dealer would've charged for the out-of-warranty repair. I can't recommend this shop enough.
