I worked with Luis in new car sales.
I had been looking for a particular car, color and options.
I had contacted every Buick dealership in Southern California.
All the other dealerships wanted to play the "car dealer dance".
Getting an "out the door" price online is pratically impossible.
They all want to entice with an advertised price, that does not include "dealer installed options"
These "dealer installed options" are worthless paint proctection, door edge guards etc.
If these were needed, the manufacturer would have built the car that way.
In contrast, Luis was very staight forward.  We did all of our communication by text.
He screen shot all the information I needed and said the exact car I wanted would be delivered in a week or so.  I had heard that before--I had waited 3 months for these cars that never showed up.
He gave me a competitive price on a hard to find car.  He even put a "24 hours hold" on the car that had not yet been delivered with no deposit from me.  He called a few days later and said the car had just been delivered.  I showed up the next morning expecting some "surprise charges"
The deal was just as he had described and I signed some papers. I never even test drove the car, I knew what I wanted already.  I checked it out for scratches etc and then came the dreaded "back office finance person"   She was very nice--Did not even bring up "extended warrenties" and the other stuff dealers try to add on.
So thanks for Luis.  He made the dreaded car dealer experience a pleasant one.
