I had been looking for a used Ram 1500 hemi for quite a while and came across a listing at Coughlin Kia for just that. The truck was right at my price point and had all the options we wanted. Sent a text on the website and was contacted by Austin D. The truck was newly listed and no photos had been posted. Austin immediately sent some pictures and answered all questions. Meeting Austin in person and making the deal was an amazing experience. No pressure ever!!! We were happy with deal and brought our new to us truck home. The whole experience would definitely make me a repeat customer. Exceptional experience at Coughlin Kia of Newark, Joe was our salesman and he went above and beyond to make this a seamless process. No pressure sales like some other dealerships, while being there to answer all questions, explain specific features of cars. While we were a little picky as in what vehicle we wanted, Joe went out of his way to personally pick up a vehicle at another location to have ready for us at very short notice. I had a pretty decent experience. I worked with John Harder for my new Kia and he did a great job in getting me where I needed to be for my budget and into a nice new car. He also was kind enough to help move items out of my old car. It was sooo late that we were the last two people in the building and John was very patient. The staff as a whole were pleasant and attentive. I like the guy at the front desk, he's so considerate.

If I had any cons it would be that Kia locations seem to horn in on using Huntington Bank which have higher rates even with "excellent" credit. This experience just confirmed that I should bring my own financing for next purchase.

The service I have received at Coughlin Kia has always been top notch. This recent visit was exceptional, all thanks to Jessica James, the service representative!
I had stopped in the week prior due to some finish issues with my window trim. Although the issue was not a recall, she treated me as if it was. I had 10 days and less than 2000 miles before my warranty ran out. She immediately took pictures and contacted her regional rep about the issue. In less than a week the new trim was in and installed at no charge to me. The replacement process took over 4 hours, so she provided a loaner at no charge. She treated me like family or better, again. She is a rare commodity these days, a pleasant, smiling face who listens, pays attention and engages you in the process of solving an issue! This dealership is fortunate to have her as a representative of their company and business.

My husband, young grandson, dog and I were traveling on the interstate home to Indiana after a Family Reunion in PA when our KIA started flashing  a light which meant needs service.  The car started stuttering every time the gas was pressed, definitely a scary situation.  At the next exit which was several miles away we pulled into a city by the name of Newark.  There we were directed to Coughlin Kia of Newark.  They were getting ready to close their Service Dept. for the day, however they said to come back at 8:30 the next day and they would service our car. One of their employees found us lodging at a hotel that accepted pets.  Next day our car was serviced and back on the road home!
