We connected with Randy on FB marketplace about a 12 passenger van he was selling. Pastor Kriss & his wife Georgia went to see the van, looked it over and thought it was in pretty solid condition, but of course always a little nervous when buying a used car, especially from a person or business that is not a certified used car dealer.
But Randy was so fair, honest & helpful — you can tell he operates by the principle of "do unto others as you'd have them do unto you."
Gave us a very fair deal and a van that is in amazing condition for the 180K miles it has on it. We had it looked at by our mechanic and even they confirmed that the frame and upkeep of the van was quite impressive for its age and mileage. Our church family is very happy with the purchase!
Randy even gave us a 30 day engine/transmission coverage to back up how confident he was in the vans condition. I had an amazing experience with Damar Cars!! I called 1/2 before closing but was an hour away to see a 2000 Saturn for my daughter (purple is her favorite color). I spoke to Randy who said that they would stay open late for me. When I got there I was completely amazed at the condition of the car. At that price point, I had seen a lot of junk, but the Saturn was in great condition and looked brand new!!. Joseph and Randy explained to me that there was an error on the title concerning the mileage of the car. Randy took the time to walk me thru the car fax report which verified the mileage was in fact correct.The car runs absolutely great and my daughter is very happy to be driving what looks like a brand new car. I was very fortunate that someone was there earlier that day, but had passed on the car. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely be back to buy another car for my son in 2 years!!
