I didn't end up buying a vehicle from Fred because of my own oversight in the research process, but still wanted to leave a good review because he was such a decent and reasonable guy who did not try to scam or upsell me. Basically, after already signing the sale docs, I looked more closely at the Carfax records for the sale of the car and realized that it was produced prior to the safety update (which happened later in the year of production for the vehicle, after the original date of sale) that was important to me. Fred understood and agreed to rip up my deposit check without giving me any hassle. Just a decent dude, consider buying a car from him!

I purchased a Jaguar F-Pace from Duncan Motors and had a great experience. Fred and Orlando took the time to show me all of the features and details of the vehicle. I was an out of state buyer and Fred also sent me pictures and videos of the car to make sure I knew what I was getting before making the trip to California.  I was also happy with the way Fred didn’t try to pressure me into the sale but let me take a couple of days to do my homework and make sure that I felt comfortable with the purchase. Overall, the buying experience with Fred and Orlando felt much more personalized than what I would have received with one of the larger dealerships. Thanks guys- I love the Jag.

I bought my Subaru Forester from Duncan Motors and it was the best experience I've had at a dealership by far. I dealt with Orlando who canceled his own plans to wait for me after hours since I couldn't take the time off work. The price was great, below blue book. Subarus are popular in the Bay Area and typically sell for well above blue book. The whole process was fast, painless, and really a pleasant experience which is rare at a car dealership. Orlando made everything clear, explained every step and made sure I understood it all. The contract was easy to understand, no BS fees or 'surcharges' like many dealerships try to tack on. They took care of the smog and all the DMV paperwork. My old car had a bad wheel bearing and I asked Orlando if he had a local shop he could recommend where I could leave it for repair. He immediately called his mechanic and arranged for him to pick it up and take care of it. Next time I'm looking for a car I will absolutely be checking out Duncan Motors first.

I was surprised that their rating wasn't higher so I read through the reviews. There are three on Google, and two of them are pretty unfounded. One person is upset that the car they purchased got broken into a lot.
