This place is not at all flashy. No free popcorn, no sodas, just great service.  Pretty much just dirt floors and cars.   Make sure you inspect the car 100% throughout Including under carriage.  They do get damaged cars from Hertz and other rental car companies so look it over.  If it is minor damages it should not affect the mechanical at all.  Check ALL the electronics.make certain everything works, heat, ac, radio, airbags ect.  We purchased a 2018 at a great price.  There was rear damage but the repair job was stellar.   We saved about $3000-$4000 below dealer price without a doubt.  Wear old cloths so you can crawl under the car to inspect.  Bring a flashlight

I purchased a car from them today.  I will repost if something goes wrong here in the next while, but I did my due diligence when checking out the car.  I looked the VIN number up online and found the salvage yard photos of the damage on the vehicle.  I took those photos to auto body shops to get their opinions on the severity and degree of repairs needed.  I test drove the car for hours!! Freeway speeds, low speed, turing over bumps, you name it I did it to test out everything.  I then took it to an auto body shop (I would recommend Schmidt Body and Paint in SLC), they were AWESOME to let me know what still needed to be repaired structurally and how well the repairs had been done (btw, the rear impact bar was completely crushed and hadn't been replaced...a crucial part for the safely of rear passengers if in another rear end collision. Be aware they do cut corners).  I then took the car to Mike Palmer Automotive where they looked over everything mechanically, structurally, electronically, alignment, wheel bearings, etc.  After all was said and done, I spent hours doing research and making sure this was not going to be a mistake based on the previous reviews I had read.  I was SUPER nervous buying a car from this place.  But, I think everything turned out ok.  Salesman was nice.  I worked with two actually.  The first one I worked with was...let's just say not super friendly when anything wrong about a car was brought up.  The second guy, I actually ended up doing the paper work with, was nice and helpful.  We worked out a lower price based on the repairs still needed. They offered to do the repairs themselves but i read reviews about that being offered to other buyers and knew it doesn't go well usually. So i asked for a lower price and I'd get them done myself.
The place is very junky and the office is pretty nasty, but if the price is right and you DO YOUR RESEARCH, then you can potentially get a good car for a lower than normal price and feel good about it. Remember, there is a reason insurance companies label a car totaled. It's not minor damage done, so do your due diligence. Just know you'll likely be needing to do more work on it later if you buy a car from here. I know the paint will be cracking in the next few years, where they touched it up, so I'll be saving my pennies for a future paint touch up. But overall I'm happy with my purchase.
