Can’t say enough great things about this dealership! I was in need of a new work truck ASAP & contacted Thad about their sale on a 2019 Tacoma. I was met through phone with aloha & immediately knew I chose the right place to bring my business to. In a little under an hour, he got me fully approved for financing in my price range & I set up an appointment to take a look at the truck in person the next day. Unfortunately, Thad had the day off & I wasn’t able to meet him in person, but he had me in great hands with the owner, Corey. The paperwork was ready for me, the truck checked out, & everything would’ve been done in less than an hour & I would’ve been out the door. However, the hospitality, friendliness, & all around aloha that Corey displayed kept me there for a few hours! He is not just in this purely for a transaction to make money, he has highly prioritized to leave his customers with a feeling of security, dependability, & apart of their ohana not just the day of, but for years ahead! First of all, - Thad Estrada is my son. And, I am a customer. While my review is very biased and highly favorable towards Kona Used Cars, you must realize too that it put a lot more pressure on this company to deliver the goods because a family member is involved here in the transaction. In March, I bought a 2013-14 Scion FR-S from KUC and I could never be happier. It's a vehicle I've been wanting for years and the stars were lined up for this one. Six (6)-speed auto trans, Sapphire blue color, in nearly mint condition and very low-mileage. Living on Oahu, the entire buying process for me was a little longer and naturally a little more tricky than just going to the dealer's lot. I had to take the word and trust of Thad and the KUC staff and numerous photos, videos, emails and texts to make this happen. But happen, it did! All the legal, transactional and shipping documentation done by KUC was a breeze!
