Im very grateful for Amir and the team at Mega Motors. They sold me a quality vehicle at a reasonable price, and the purchase experience was straightforward and comfortable. I bought a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 V6 with 92,000 miles. I hope to drive it to 300k. The resale value is low but the utility value is high, and thats what matters to me. I just want a reliable vehicle. I had shopped for a month before I found Mega Motors. I wanted an older model midsize pickup with low mileage, and it was challenging to find. All i could find were huge trucks and relatively new trucks. And they all cost much more than i could pay. But Mega Motors specializes in exactly the sort of vehicle i was lookin for. He had several trucks that interested me. The website is pretty accurate in terms of inventory and price. He test drove each truck with me, and i took them each separately to a nearby auto shop for a full inspection before making a choice. I spent all day back and forth between the dealership and the shop, and Amir and his team were supportive in every way. I felt comfortable makin this big purchase because i had all the information i needed about the origin of the car, its history, its current state, and its probable future needs. Amir even shared with me the price he paid for the vehicle at auction and the photos of its damage before he repaired it. He had only just recently had it inspected and applied to convert the title from salvage to rebuilt, so he didnt have a title to sign over to me that day. He gave me copies of all the dmv forms and the inspection form, so i was confident the title change would happen. We used a different form for transfer of ownership and deferred part of the payment until i could return for the title. After a few weeks amir called me, and i returned for the title. Amir and i talked by phone, by text, and in person. He was very available and responsive and continues to be. Ive never bought a vehicle at a dealership before. I figured it would be an alienating and intimidating process where i would have to trust the dealer and his complicated process instead of my own decision making. But workin with Amir and Mega Motors was like buying anything from anybody. I felt like a person dealing with another person, getting all the necessary information, and making my own decision. Seems like how it should be. Thanks for breakin the mold Amir! Its never easy going against the grain of a huge industry or our capitalist system that prioritizes resale and insurance valuation over actual working value and people's needs. Had a great experience getting my first truck. When I was figuring out financing, Amir gave multiple options to try to accommodate my needs that I appreciated. Amir agreed to get a squeak checked out that we heard during the test drive as part of the final agreement. Turned out a bracket affecting the suspension needed replacing. Within a week I had the truck, no squeak, all of which Amir covered. He also expressed I could return to him if I have any future issues with the truck. Think this is a great family owned business that cares about their customers. With how the used car market is right now, I was grateful to find a fair deal in town.
