It was a tremendous pleasure getting my new car at Nelson/Ford. I had the deal almost completely negotiated over the phone with their sales Rep (Harry) before I drove from Roanoke. They gave me a very fair trade-in value for my vehicle and I drove home with a new SUV. No Surprises or crazy hidden fees. At the time of purchase my vehicle only had one key so Chris promised to get me second one.  Indeed, he held up his end of the bargain and got a second key within 2 weeks which is why I waited before reviewing them online.  Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Nelson/Ford. The whole team including the finance department were quick, easy and friendly. They took care of everything Tags, title, registration, and insurance. Would certainly recommend them and do business with them again.

I can’t say enough good things about my recent experience with Nelson Ford and with Eric Friedhoff in particular. He listened to what I was looking for and never tried to push me into a car. He helped me find the car I was looking for, even when it turned out that it wasn’t on the lot. Eric has been reachable any time of day and always responded quickly, even on his day off. (This has continued after the sale as well.) There was a car on the lot that was very close to what I wanted. They made me a great deal, but in the end, I wanted to be sure I got the exact options I wanted. They worked for a week with dealers in neighboring states trying to find my car. They found the car I wanted, worked out a great deal, and I couldn’t be happier.

I came into the situation wanting to support Nelson, having seen everything they do in our community. People go to other cities and states to buy cars, but Nelson worked with me as good as or better than any dealer I’ve worked with in Roanoke, Greensboro, or Charlotte. I am proud that I was able to get the car I wanted, at the deal I wanted, and was able to support such a great business in our community.
