My daughter was up from Texas and her cars a/c quit working the shop she took it to in Texas stated she needed an entire new system, compressor and all. Let's face it.  Car repairs can get expensive fast.  I avoid the big box and dealer repair shops like the plague.  The guys at Putnams are the best.  If they say you need it, YOU NEED IT.  I've had numerous repairs done there and they are always done correctly.  They are honest, knowledgeable, and fair in their price.  I recommend them any chance I get.
