I’ve never bought a truck out of state before. I was very nervous but I’m glad I went for it! I bought this truck without ever seeing it which felt crazy at the time. Since I never saw the truck in person there were some small scratches and little things here and there that I wasn’t able to see in the pictures but nothing that made me disappointed. I think the seller did a good job representing the vehicle and its condition. The owner of TMCR Nick went over all of the details of the truck over the phone with me and was very responsive throughout the whole process. Overall they had great customer service and if I’m in the market for another hard to find classic truck I will most likely reach out to TMCR again.

As out of state customer, I was extremely impressed at how easy it was to handle all aspects of the vehicle transfer including paperwork done digitally by TMCR and their prompt and friendly customer service when I had questions. I was nervous buying a truck without seeing it in person, but for some reason I felt confident doing so with TMCR. I'd looked at out of state trucks from a few other dealers and felt uneasy about the rest of them.

The purchasing process was easy, Nick sent plenty of extra photos and video, and did a video call with me. Payment was simple and delivery was quick. Having a diesel truck shipped to CA from out of state, I had a lot of questions, but Nick was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. After delivery, there were 3 separate occasions (upon delivery, at the smog center, at the DMV) when I texted a question to Nick, and he called me right away to walk me through whatever my question was.

If I were to do it again, I'd be a little more thorough on my end asking for lots of photos, as there was a bit more rust underneath the truck than it seemed like in the video call I did with Nick. Nothing alarming though, and if there were, I trust he would have been up front about it. Also, the truck was listed as "single family owned" which I assumed meant one owner. Turns out it was owned by the family business, then the dad, then the son, so 3 owners on paper, which will definitely affect the resale value. Doesn't really matter though because I plan on keeping this truck til the end of its life. Again, if I were to do it again, I'd get a carfax beforehand just so I have all the facts.

In the end, aside from me being more diligent, I would 100% buy a truck from TMCR again, and so would recommend them to anyone else who's considering buying one of their vehicles. I'm very happy with my purchase.
