Keystone RV

Keystone RV image

Keystone RV was founded in 1996 in Goshen, Indiana by Cole Davis with the clear mission to deliver feature‑rich RVs at prices thousands of dollars below competitors. Early growth was rapid. By 2000 the company had earned a spot on the Inc. 500 list of fastest‑growing firms. In 2001, just five years after its launch, Keystone was acquired by Thor Industries for approximately $145 million, securing deep industry support while retaining its innovative spirit. Over the years Keystone carved a dominant niche in the North American towable RV market, earning a #2 spot among best‑selling RV makers in 2024 with some 46,466 units sold, or roughly 17 % of market share. Its Cougar line routinely ranks as the No. 1 fifth‑wheel in North America, confirmed again in early 2025. Today Keystone RV remains firmly centered on travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and destination trailers, producing hundreds of floorplans under popular nameplates such as Cougar, Montana, Passport, Outback, Fuzion, Bullet, and Raptor. The brand continues to lead in customer loyalty and innovation in the towable RV segment.
