My family was headed to the beach this past summer for a camping trip. While enroute and pulling a camper, we heard a strange noise coming from the engine compartment. After multiple stops and a few Google searches, we concluded it may be the charge air cooler. Based on what we read, we needed to act fast. We called numerous Ford dealerships, while slowly continuing our travels. As we continued to lose horsepower, we stopped and focused on how to solve this problem and to ensure damage was not done to the engine. Between service, parts and techs it was all hands on deck. From the time we entered the lot to the time we departed; it was roughly 1 hour.
