I have a fear of various things in life—spiders, clowns, and car dealerships. The fear of sleazy dealerships led us to travel all the way from Miami to Lakeland, as Miami dealerships are notorious for being untrustworthy. Thankfully, Mazda Lakeland proved to be a refreshing exception. Unlike other dealerships, they were genuinely nice, professional, and not sleazy. The fact that their salesmen work on an hourly basis, not on commission, meant they could provide the actual online price without hidden fees. This was perfect for us, as we had a budget to stick to. Our salesman, Brian, went above and beyond. He was extremely nice, responsive, and friendly. Even after the sale, he stayed extra to provide detailed information about the car. Also special shout out to the financial manager and Austin at the front desk! Super friendly! In the end, it was a great experience. Despite my ongoing fear of dealerships, Mazda Lakeland managed to dispel any concerns I had.
