I had a great experience with Pearson jeep service center. I just moved to Richmond last year and needed to have my 2014 jeep wrangler looked at. I originally took it to a place I found by reading extensive reviews. Took it in for a few minor things and got a laundry list of items back from them. Long story short is I got my jeep back in worse condition than I took it. When I got it back it had a severe shimmy. When I would hit 45mph it started and only got worse as I went faster. The shop that originally worked on it told me I needed a suspension and new wheels and hopefully that would fix it. I decided to get a second opinion and luckily I brought it to Pearson. I stopped by to schedule an appointment and right off the bat their customer service was great. They scheduled me for a few days later. When I brought it in they looked at it within 24 hrs and called to tell me that I needed a front drive shaft. They said they could have it fixed that day. I informed them that my job takes me out of state and that I wouldn’t be back for 6 days. The gentlemen said that’s fine you can leave it here and we’ll have it ready for you when you return. I picked my Jeep up yesterday and it’s back to normal! I couldn’t be happier. They even fixed my blinker that was out free of charge. I have to give them 5 stars.
I noticed I was in real need of some brakes, so I went to Advance Auto Parts to get some front brakes for my car, but I had to call the dealership to find out the size because the salesman didn't know which one I needed. The gentleman in the parts department was very helpful. He asked for for a few things including the last 8 digits of the VIN number. A few minutes later I called the service department to schedule an appointment to have the brakes put on. My appointment was 6 days later. When I picked the car up I noticed right away that my roters were turned because it had a shine, and it was smooth. They did a "17 Point Vehicle Check-Up" on my car. I was satisfied with the work, and the price. I will be bringing my vehicle back to Pearson this year for more work.
We took my 20 ye old granddaughter to Pearson for a diagnostic testing. Our service advisor was very friendly and listened attentively as I let my GD explain what had been happening while she would be driving. I let her explain as she needed to learn how to do these things. He took great notes and they diagnosed everything! The only issue we had was I had to call almost a week later to find out what was wrong with car, it took a couple messages left for him to call me back with results. Other than that the experience was great. We did end up taking car elsewhere for repair because of the $5100 price tag to repair a 2013 Chrysler 300 s was way too much for the 20yr old to pay for????
