Great experience from a dealership. I found the car I wanted online  and coming from another state 500 miles away can sometimes be a hassle. David was my sales person and above all else the communication was fantastic. We worked on the price and I put down a deposit to pick the car up in 8 days. The car was just as described and maybe better! The process was fast and easy and would definitely do business with them again. Ask for David and you will be very well taken care of.

I came in about 2 weeks ago looking for an SUV after my daughter totaled my car.  The situation that brought me in was certainly was not ideal but Mitch and the manager (sorry I forgot his name) were absolutely wonderful.  They were up front with me on pricing and what they can do to help. They were personable and understanding and truly made an uncomfortable situation for me much more enjoyable.
The fact that the manager came out alone was extra special.
Not knowing what kind of car I wanted, I just about visited every dealership within a 15 mile radius of where I live.   Smithtown Cheverolet was the only place where I felt like they didnâ??t play games when it came to pricing, the manager actually showed his face and came out to sit with Mitch and I as we discussed the car.  That alone says a lot about the dealership.
My experience there was great and actually memorable. I wish the other dealers took notes from you.
I wound up being able to get a car from a family member so all my worries about buying a new car have dissipated however I wanted you to know your customer service was absolutely top notch.  Way above the rest!

What a refreshing car buying experience. I was in need of a new car, but based on my previous experiences, I dreaded the thought of actually having to go through the whole car dealership process. Sales people who try to hold you hostage, use "hard sell" tactics and play number games in hopes of squeezing as much profit out of a sale as possible. Finally after facing that onslaught, comes the dreaded finance person, here is where we usually get the real confusing hard sell. Numerous options, some of which are totally useless or way over-priced. I found the experience at Chevrolet of Smithtown totally different. They had a car I was interested in that I was finding hard to find elsewhere. I decided I would drop by on a Thursday night after work to just get a feel for the dealership and their pricing. I figured I could not get too beat up in the few hours left before the dealership was scheduled to close. I went in cold without an appointment and met their salesperson James Lyons as I entered, within half hour or so I had bought a car. James was extremely helpful, listened to my needs and worked with me to get a very fair deal done. He was friendly, down to earth, with a no pressure attitude. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to purchase a Chevrolet. But of course there was the day I was to pick up the car and meet the dreaded finance manager. This is where I was going to be bombarded with all sorts of complicated and costly "extras" that were "ONLY going to add a few more dollars a month" to my loan. But once again I was in for a surprise. John Bracken, their Finance Manager, was a breath of fresh air. No hard sell of anything. He limited his discussion to only a couple of possible additional options that he felt would be best for my particular circumstances. He was more than willing to discuss the "real" costs of these options and not just the usual "for only a few more dollars a month" tactic. Best of all, he was able to take no for an answer. The entire 2-day process was completed with less than two or three hours actually spent inside the dealership, leaving me with only great things to say about this dealership and the entire experience. Oh, not to mention the great price I got on a great "candy apple" red Equinox RS.
