For the last couple of years when my 2011 Chevy Traverse was being serviced, I would look around the showroom or on the lot for an Equinox. There never was a car that caught my attention. Our oldest granddaughter is getting married April 13th, in Charleston, SC., and my car is 13 years old, but in excellent condition. But when I walked in the showroom and saw the red Equinox, with seats like I wanted, I just kept walking around looking at it. My husband, who is so supportive, said you like it? Then Jack Metcalf asked if we would like some help. He was the nicest, most knowledgeable salesman I have met. No pressure was ever at any time exhibited from him. He said he would get a quote put together, and I said, yes. From that moment on, we felt comfortable with him! We had good conversation, felt like we were friends. I hope we are. Expressway Chevrolet in Mt. Vernon, where I bought the Traverse, and is the only place who has serviced my Traverse, have always had my best interest. For 13 years Dustin, and Will, have answered questions and taken care of us very caringly, like a friend. They are professional and knowledgeable as well. So, why wouldn't I buy another car there and continue servicing it there as well.
Do I like a car payment, no. But the peace of mind I have and knowing, even with this new car, if something goes wrong or there is a recall, Expressway Mt. Vernon dealership including Jack, Dustin, Will, or whomever I encounter will treat me with respect and do the right thing. In today's world, what more could you ask for. Thank you!
